Nam Dinh University of Nursing took part in the first sporting event of Health Section, the fifth Region in 2017

       On 24th and 25th May, 2017 NDUN athletes delegation took part in the first sporting event of Health Section, 5th Region in 2017 held at the sporting event Hall in Hai Duong province.

       The sporting event aimed at encouraging staffs in health section to actively participate in the sports for training and improving their health in order to fulfill their assigned tasks; implement the program of developing cultural lifestyle at the grassroot level and cultural performance of staffs in health sector staff; celebrating the great holidays of the country, and the health sector (the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Health Trade Union from 23rd December, 1957 to 23rd December, 2017); and creating a healthy and practical playground to strengthen the relationship, solidarity, and experience exchange among health workers; agencies in the health sector.

       Attending the Sporting Event in the fifth Region, there were athletes who are staffs from 17 institutions in the health sector. Facilities, professional management, and referee were prepared well by the organizers for a safe and successful sporting event. NDUN eighteen staffs took part in the sporting event as the athletes.

      There was conpetition for badminton, table tennis; Tennis; Mini football for men and women. The sporting event was evaluated with high professional quality with many turns and the finals were dramatic and attractive.

       Nam Dinh University of Nursing ranked second out of 17 delegations with five gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze medal.
