Annual Political Education for the freshmen
Ngày đăng: 11/09/2023 21:45Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training on organizing the Annual Political Education for the freshmen in training institutions for the academic year 2023 - 2024 , on 11th September 2023 the opening ceremony of Annual Political Education Week for the freshmen was organized at NDUN hall.

Attending the opening ceremony there was Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Rector; Dr. Ngo Huy Hoang - NDUN Vice Rector; heads of NDUN departments; reporters from related departments at NDUN; Academic advisors and new students.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh, on behalf of NDUN, sent the congratulations to the new students who were admitted to Nam Dinh University of Nursing in 2023 and introduced them NDUN goals, mission, educational philosophy, and traditions so that they can feel like and be proud of a university they chose as well as motivate them to be determined to study and practise for the successful course completion.

The necessary initial information about NDUN: rules, regulations, rights, obligations, policies for students including: Management documents related to students' rights and obligations; Documents related to policies for students; regulations on training; Union and Association; security and safety at NDUN for a safe, healthy and friendly educational environment; Laws on crime, AIDS, drugs, prostitution, and social evils control; traffic safety; cultivated behavior, cultivated behavior on social networks, guidelines to participate in clubs, cultural and art programs, and activities for the community and society.
Political education for students: students are taught the basic content and new points in the documents of the Sixth Conference; Results of the Seventh Conference (Mid-term Conference) of the 13th Party Central Committee according to the guidance of the Central Propaganda Committee; Basic contents of the Party's Resolutions and Directives related to political and ideological education for students, especially Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW dated 22nd October 2018 of the Politburo on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against wrong and hostile views in the new situation; Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style are closely linked to the implementation of NDUN political tasks; educate students to practice political courage, revolutionary ideals, and a sense of responsibility towards themselves, family and society; protect the sea and island sovereignty and Vietnam maritime strategy; domestic and international economic, political, and social highlights in the first 6 months of 2023.
Law education for students: Disseminate and educate students about legal provisions to raise students' awareness of human rights, citizen rights, rights and interests of students as prescribed in the 2013 Constitution; Education Law 2019, Higher Education Law 2012; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2018 Higher Education Law and other related documents; Law provisions to raise students' awareness and sense of law observance are stipulated in: Penal Code 2015; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2015 Penal Code; Law on Road, Railway and Inland Waterway Traffic; Cyber Security Law; Youth Law 2020; Law on Drug Control 2021; Law on Tobacco Harm Prevention; Law on Consumer Rights Protection 2010; Intellectual property law; Law on human trafficking prevention and combat; Anti-corruption Law; and other related documents; regulations on rights, obligations, and policies of students; relevant rules and regulations.
The Annual Political Education Week for the freshmen was carefully prepared by NDUN to achieve high educational efficiency. New students focus on lectures. There were discussions, dialogues, writing and evaluation at the end of the week. Throughout the week, new students will grasp and absorb useful content related to their learning and training process at NDUN. It is hoped that with careful preparation from NDUN and the efforts from students, the highest achievements in studying and training would be achieved.
