       On 9th August 2023, the delegation of lecturers and students from Japanese Red Cross Kyushu International College of Nursing visited, exchanged and shared experiences on community nursing at Nam Dinh University of Nursing and Nam Van Commune, Nam Dinh city.

       On the side of NDUN, there was Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Rector; Dr. Ngo Huy Hoang – NDUN Vice Rector; Dr. Tran Van Long - Dean of Public Health Faculty; Dr. Do Minh Sinh - Head of department of Science and Technology Management and Foreign Relations; staffs of  NDUN Department of Science and Technology Management and Foreign Relations.

NDUN leaders presented gifts to the delegation

       At the meeting, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Rector introduced the delegation about NDUN development. The Rector emphasized the role of cooperative relationships with Japanese partners in NDUN development over the years.

       Dr. Truong Tuan Anh stated that the relationship between Vietnam and Japan has developed very well in many areas of social life, including education. And Nam Dinh University of Nursing has also established cooperative relationships with Japanese universities and colleges and this has brought great benefits to society and beneficiaries from cooperative programs.

       After the official meeting, there was a group discussion between students of the two universities on professional knowledge.

       As plan, on 10th August 2023, the delegation visited Le Duc Tho Secondary School. Here, they exchanged and shared experiences with students about traffic safety knowledge.

       On 11th August 2023, the delegation visited Nam Van commune health station. Here, they conducted group discussions and exchanged experiences on health care for the elderly in the community. The delegation also visited some households in Nam Van commune.

       Within the visit, there was a cultural exchange between students of the two universities to create opportunities for them to exchange and introduce about country, culture, and people of Vietnam and Japan.

       The visit of the delegation from Japanese Red Cross Kyushu International College of Nursing is an opportunity for lecturers and students of the two universities to exchange, learn and share experiences in the field of humanitarian activities for the community. It is hoped that through this program, the connection between the two universities will become stronger.
