Book exchange festival 2023 and the message - Books for me, for you

       From 17th - 19th April 2023,  Book Exchange Festival with the message "Books for me, for you" was launched by NDUN library  for NDUN staffs , learners and students. This would be a good opportunity for readers to both discover more values of books and share good books to many people.

       NDUN staffs, learners and students would exchange books and choose the books they want at NDUN Library from 17th - 19th April 2023 .

       Colored cards for book exchange:

       + Green card: Books eligible for exchange, average shape, good, new, cover price < 100,000 VND

        + Yellow card: Book eligible for exchange, good shape, new, 100,000 VND < cover price > 150,000 VND

        + Red card: New or almost new books, classic works, books that are highly sought on the market, cover price> 150,000 VND

        (If readers bring many books with different colors card values, they will only receive the highest color card among the cards they have. This card is only to confirm that they are participants in the activity. The books in return still corresponds to the books you give.)

       Criteria for exchange:

        + It is a copyrighted book, not a pirated book or poor quality book due to printing;

        + The book for exchange should follow the criteria set by the library.

        + Books are not too thin: 50 pages or more

       (The library does not accept books and stories that are forbidden and unsuitable with Vietnamese customs and traditions. Political or religious books; textbooks and advanced books for all levels are not accepted for exchange; books for exchange are not refundable if the readers cannot choose another books they like.)

       The organization of Vietnam Book Day every year aims to develop the reading movement among NDUN staffs, learners and students, to improve reading culture towards a learning society and lifelong learning; to honor the value of books, to affirm the role, position and importance of books in the life, learning, teaching and scientific research of NDUN staffs, learners and students; to propagate education to attract the attention and response of NDUN staffs, learners and students to create motivation to to raise community awareness of reading culture.
