Ceremony of signing Memorandum of Understanding between Nam Dinh University of Nursing and Dong A University

On 7th January 2023, Nam Dinh University of Nursing (NDUN) had a visit to Dong A University (No. 33 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh - Hai Chau District - Da Nang City).
At the meeting, on the side of Nam Dinh University of Nursing, there was Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - Rector; Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Chinh – Head of Higher Education Management Department; Dr. Do Minh Sinh – Head of Scientific Research Management Department and members of the delegation. On the side of Dong A University, there was Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Dao - Rector and representatives of functional departments.
Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Rector introduced about the history of NDUN construction and development, important achievements that NDUN has achieved, especially in the innovation of training models; changes in advanced teaching and learning methods; development of training programs; strong application of IT and communication in teaching.
Dr. Truong Tuan Anh emphasized that with a solid foundation, with bold innovation to catch up with the trend of the times, Nam Dinh University of Nursing has become one of the nursing-midwifery training universities that provides high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of national development and international integration.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Dao - Rector of Dong A University expressed her impression with NDUN achievements in the past years, especially the results in innovation of university administration, facilities and development strategy of NDUN strengths and spearheads.
On the basis of high consensus, on behalf of the two universities, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Rector and Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Dao - Rector of Dong A University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), a framework agreement that lays the foundation for the development of the partnership between the two universities.
The content of the memorandum includes:
- Exchanging published academic documents and educational information; join in academic exchange meetings organized by the two sides.
- Exchanging of lecturers, students and researchers for the purpose of teaching, learning and scientific research.
- Collaborating to organize academic conferences on issues of mutual interest if possible, including funding possibilities.
- Every year, the two sides jointly organize science and technology tasks, seminars, scientific conferences, seminars to exchange experiences on contents of mutual interest.
- Providing funding and appointing qualified lecturers to coordinate in implementing scientific and technological tasks at all levels.
- Providing and sharing information about the Faculty, Department, facilities for research; scientific publications, library documents and educational resources of the host institution to the partner.
- Reviewing and evaluating periodically completed activities and developing new ideas for future agreements.
With the signing of this memorandum of understanding, Nam Dinh University of Nursing and Dong A University agreed to promote cooperation between the two sides.
