       With the consent of NDUN Party Committee and Management Board, on 11th and 12th March 2023, NDUN staffs had a visit to Bạch Đằng Giang, Yên Tử, Tây Thiên (historical and cultural sites) to learn more about the history, culture and tradition of the nation. The visit was organized by NDUN Executive Committee of the Trade Union.

       This is a practical activity for the success of NDUN Trade Union's 6th Congress (the term 2023 - 2028); International Women's Day and NDUN Traditional Day.

       Participating in this meaningful activity there was Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - Rector; Ms. Tran Thi Viet Ha - President of Trade Union; 103 staffs and their relatives.

       On 11th March, the delegation visited and oferred incense at Victory Square; learnt about the historical periods of the nation, especially the glorious feats - 3 naval battles in the history of national building and defense at Bach Dang Giang National Historic Site. Then the delegation visited the Museum and the temples in the relic complex; learned about the status, fame and career of national heroes throughout history from the 10th - 13th centuries.

 

       The delegation moved to Yen Tu historical and scenic site - a special national relic that is associated with Buddha Emperor Tran Nhan Tong (1258 - 1308), the king who once led the army and the people under Tran dynasty to defeat Nguyen - Mong army twice. He then gave up the throne, went to Yen Tu for a monastic life and founded Truc Lam Zen.

  

       On 12th March, the delegation went to Tay Thien - a complex of cultural and tourism that has been classified as a special national relic by the Prime Minister. Here, the delegation learned about the great values of culture and history, religion and beliefs; and experienced the three most characteristic values: historical and cultural values, spiritual significance, and landscape.

 

       After two days, the safe visit creats a joyful and united atmosphere for NDUN staffs. They have a chance to visit cultural and spiritual sites and learn about the historical and traditional values of the nation. The visit also brings them the understanding and responsibility in making Vietnamese culture be advanced and full of national identity.

     The visit to learn about national history,culture and tradition is a regular activity of NDUN Trade Union on the occasion of International Women's Day, Vietnamese Women's Day, etc. Through the visit, NDUN female staffs are encouraged to emulate enthusiastically for the movement "Be good at NDUN tasks, be capable of housework".
