The moot court to propagate the law for students at NDUN

The overview of the moot court

       On the occasion of the new academic year 2022-2023 and Vietnam Law Day, on 26th October 2022, the "Moot Court" was held at NDUN by the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Nam Dinh Agencies and Enterprises in coordinattion with NDUN Youth Union, Nam Dinh People's Procuracy,  Agri Bank in Nam Dinh Province.

       Attending the program, on the side of NDUN, there was Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Rector; Mr. Pham Van Tung – Head of Student Affairs Department; Mrs. Do Thi Hanh - In charge of the Inspection - Legislation Department. There were guestes from Nam Dinh Agencies & Enterprises; Nam Dinh Youth Union; Nam Dinh People's Procuracy, Agribank in Nam Dinh province; 400 NDUN Youth Union members; reporters from Nam Dinh Radio and Television Station and Nam Dinh Newspaper.

       The "Moot Court" aimed  to educate and propagate youth union members in Nam Dinh province in general, NDUN students in particular about legal awareness; raising the sense of civic responsibility, complying with legal regulations for NDUN youth union members, especially the state's regulations on the field of law on health sector (conditions for opening a clinic, rights and obligations of medical staffs...); drug crime prevention; cyber security law; Youth law;

       The program was implemented with many unique features, not only the "theatricalization" of legal cases and situations, but also after the "Moot Court", NDUN youth union members could also ask questions.This helped them have a clearer and deeper understanding of the law so that they could apply them into their life and working process later. Instead of memorizing the terms and regulations by heart, they could imagine in the most authentic way the contents of the case and the violations of the "defendants" so as to avoid encountering them in the future situations.

      And in this program, Agri Bank in Nam Dinh Province presented 20 scholarships for NDUN students who have with difficult circumstances. These are practical gifts to help poor students overcome difficulties to study well.
