A training course on developing and applying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at NDUN

       From 29th - 30th November 2022, a training course on developing and applying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) was organized at NDUN.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Chairman of NDUN Council delivered  the opening speech at the training course

       Attending the training course there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Hao - Eastern International University; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Chairman of NDUN Council; all NDUN staffs (training class 1); members NDUN Council, managment board; Heads and Deputy Heads of Faculties, Departments, Centers, Library (training class 2).

        Speaking at the opening of the training course Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Chairman of NDUN Council emphasized that the purpose of the training course was to measure the performance of NDUN staffs; help NDUN staffs understand clearly about KPIs and related concepts in order to develop KPIs for their quality of work performance and innovate, improve the management for the requirements of the quality assessment standards step by step.

       Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Hao presented the concepts of KPIs in the managing higher education institutions and activities of Education Quality Accreditation; how to develop and implement KPIs; develop strategies with KPIs; evaluate work performance with KPIs; develop training program output standards with (K)PIs.

        Through his presentation and introduction, NDUN staffs have grasped the necessary information about KPIs as well as related concepts; how to develop KPIs to implement the strategy and annual plan of the educational institution; how to develop output standards of training programs and organize teaching and assessment activities based on KPIs; how to improve the management of educational institutions for the requirements of standard sets for evaluating the quality of educational institutions and training programs.

       The expert also mentioned the real situations to illustrate KPIs in a number of fields. This would lead to the development and implementation of KPIs suitable for the educational section. NDUN staffs at the training course also exchanged their ideas and discussed about KPIs application. And this field would be learned and researched to develop and implement appropriately and effectively at NDUN.

        Speaking at the training course, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Rector thanked the expert for his training course at NDUN. Dr. Truong Tuan Anh hoped that this training would be a premise to help NDUN in the future. And KPIs for NDUN, NDUN departments, and then NDUN staffs would be developed for NDUN activeness towards assigned tasked based on  the content of developing, implementing KPIs for educational institution management and training activities.
