       On 30th November 2022, with the approval of the Quality Management Department - Ministry of Education and Training,the ceremony of announcing the decision and awarding the certificate of program accreditation for NDUN Bachelor of Midwifery Program was organized at NDUN by Center for Education and Accreditation - Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges (CEA-AVU&C).

       Attending the ceremony there was Dr. Le Viet Khuyen – Vice President of Vietnam Association of Universities and Colleges; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - CEA-AVU&C Chief of Office; and members of the external assessment team. On the side of NDUN, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Tung –  Chairman of NDUN Council; Dr. Truong Tuan Anh – NDUN Rector; members of NDUN Party Executive Committee, management board, NDUN Self-Assessment Council; heads of faculties, departments, centers, representatives of midwifery classes.

       Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh – NDUN Rector summarized the development process of NDUN as well as the preparation and completion of documents and evidence to register for NDUN Bachelor of Midwifery Program. After the official survey for external evaluation in the spirit of seriousness, publicity and transparency of the evaluation team, NDUN Bachelor of Midwifery Program has been approved by CEA-AVU&C. On behalf of NDUN staffs, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh also committed in the coming time to make continuous efforts to promote the gained strengths and improve the shortcomings, the recommendations mentioned by the Education Accreditation Council to promote and improve NDUN training quality. The Rector sincerely thanked the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Health, the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges for their support to NDUN.

       Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Viet Khuyen - Vice President of Vietnam Association of Universities and Colleges highly appreciated the strengths of NDUN, especially some results achieved during the time NDUN has been implementing the recommendations of the External assessment team. At the same time, he emphasized that NDUN needs to make additional investments to standardize and further improve the quality of training activities and to link scientific research activities to the local requirements for sustainable development.

       During the evaluation period, NDUN Bachelor of Midwifery Program was surveyed based on NDUN vision; MOET and MOH regulations. The program was compared with some similar training programs of many countries. The description of the training program and the outline of the sections have been updated and published.

       The output of the training program has been developed based on consultation with stakeholders and periodically reviewed. Course outlines have clearly shown the content of teaching and assessment methods.

       Criteria for lecturers is also an important and familiar criterion in the quality assessment process. NDUN team has been highly qualified with experiences and reputation in the academic field. NDUN lecturers have used active teaching and learning methods to encourage learner with active learning and creativity.

       The results of NDUN Bachelor of Midwifery Program reaffirms NDUN position, prestige and educational quality; the efforts of NDUN team; raises awareness about the quality assurance workand is an important. This is the lever for NDUN to improve the quality of education for meeting the quality standards in the religion and in the world.
