NDUN Warm Clothes Program 2021 for the highland in Cao Bang Province

       With the consent of NDUN Party Committee and NDUN management board; under the close direction of Nam Dinh Youth Union, the coordination of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Universities and Colleges in Nam Dinh province, Dai Lam Secondary School and Youth Union of My Tan commune, My Loc Distric, On January 22, 2021, Warm Clothes Program 2021 for the highland in Thanh Long Commune, Ha Quang District, Cao Bang Province was organized by the Executive Committee of NDUN Youth Union - NDUN Student Association.

       The program received the companionship of sponsors such as Honda Vu Minh Company, PNJ Jewelry Company; the people in Nam Dinh province and neighboring provinces; NDUN staffs, students and learners.

       Warm clothes program in the highland is the annual winter voluntary program of NDUN Youth Union and Student Association for many years. The benificials are poor students, families with difficult circumstances in the highlands and remote areas of the Northern mountainous areas. The program aims to share a part of the difficulties of the children and the difficult families in the cold winter. And the program is also an opportunity for NDUN union members, members and students to penetrate and understand  difficulties and struggles of ethnic minorities in the highland. Thereby awareness of the compassion, love for the people and the nation is risen.

       To prepare for the program, for many months, volunteers have been striving to mobilize donations, ask for the support of sponcers inside and outside NDUN. With a lot of effort and enthusiasm, the program has mobilized 460 uniform jackets for students at elementary and secondary levels, 5 weights of rice, 1 weigh of salt, 50 kilograms of seasoning, 140 blankets, 10 million VND in cash, 276 cartons of Vinamilk 1000ml, 200 pairs of socks, and lots of biscuits, instant noodles, second-hand warm clothes. 

       Participating in the program there is Mrs. Pham Thi Hang - Leader of voluntary delegation, Standing Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of NDUN Youth Union, Head of the Division of Universities and Colleges; representatives of My Tan Youth Union, universities and colleges in the area, NDUN voluntary teams and typical volunteers.

       Coming to the commune, NDUN voluntary delegation received a warm welcome from the Party Committee, authorities of Thanh Long commune, Ha Quang District, Cao Bang province. With the heart, affection and share, NDUN youth union wishes the small gifts will bring the warmth to students, parents, people in difficult circumstances.

       The journey named "Warm clothes in the highlands" to Cao Bang of NDUN Youth Union has been completed safely and brought about good meanings of support. The journey not only left many beautiful memories but also brought many useful experiences for better preparation in the future charities. Hopefully, NDUN future programs will be more and more successful and effective.
