Teaching contest at NDUN level to celebrate the 60th anniversary of NDUN

        On 28th October 2020, teaching contest at NDUN level to celebrate the 60th anniversary of NDUN was held by NDUN.

       In this teaching contest, there were 7 lecturers selected from faculties and centers at the teaching contest at faculty / center round of from 15th - 25th September 2020. This is a profound professional event for NDUN lecturers to exchange and learn experiences in professional work. This helped find out typical factors in the profession to commend and reward. Through the Teaching contest the professional qualifications and pedagogical skills of the lecturers were assessed and based on that there should be a plan to improve the professional qualifications and pedagogical capacity for NDUN lecturers to meet NDUN training requirements in the future.

       The Jury of the teaching contest were the leaders in NDUN managment board; NDUN Heads, deputy heads of faculties, centers, NDUN main lecturers, and NDUN lecturers who have many experiences in teaching.

       The content of lectures selected by lecturers was in NDUN curriculum that have been licensed for training. Each lecturer will teach a theoretical of a practical lecture. The time is 50 minutes for theoretical or practical lectures.

       It is easy to find out that there are different exciting lectures enthusiastic and experienced lecturers in this teaching contest from the list of lectures registered by faculties and center. The topics were various such as: human chromosome and human chromosomal pathology, dengue, pharmacokinetic process of drugs, care of patients with myocardial ischemia, HIV / AIDS epidemiology, techniques to help doctors with endotracheal intubation, neonatal care techniques right after delivery ...

       Based on the judges' evaluation results, the jury board of the organizers proposes NDUN Rector to issue a decision to recognize the best lecturers at NDUN teaching contest and reward the winners according to the regulations. It is estimated that there is one first prize, one second prize, two third prizes and three consolation prizes (they will be announced at celebration of the 60th anniversary of NDUN).

       The organization of NDUN teaching contest for the 60th anniversary of NDUN has been strictly implemented in accordance with the regulations on NDUN good teaching. The lecturers participating in teaching contest have showed their competencies followed the focus in teaching that made the class more exciting and ensured adequate knowledge in comparision with detailed curriculum and requirements.
