       On 16th October 2020, the Contest of skillful hands to celebrate Vietnamese Womens Day was organized by NDUN Trade Union Executive Committee and NDUN Women's Board with the content "Recycling of plastic waste" to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day and the 60th anniversary of NDUN.

       Attending the contest there was Associate Professor. Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Chairman of NDUN Council; Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Vice Rector, Incharge of NDUN ; members in NDUN Party Executive Committee, NDUN management board; Trade Union Executive Committee, Youth Union; NDUN Women's Board, leaders of faculties, departments, lecturers, representatives of classes and 08 teams participating in the comtest came from NDUN Women's teams.

       The contest was organized to increase concern and raise public awareness, especially for NDUN staffs, learners and students on reducing, reusing and recycling of waste through appropriate organization,  resources saving and the environmental protection.

       The contest was also a healthy, useful and practical playground for NDUN staffs to promote their creation in recycling and reusing plastic waste for environmental protection.

       Each team has 05 members. Teams have 60 minutes to make their products and 03 minutes to present their products. Products must be made from waste plastic materials, the maximum size of the product is 1m. There should be presentation for each product. Creative ideas, novelty, and wide application in in everyday life such as: utensils, toys must be clear and show the positive sense of reusing and recycling waste for environmental protection.

        As soon as the organizers finished their evaluation, the results of the contest were announced. There were 08 prizes. The first prize was for the team Library - Center for Science, Technology and Service and Finance - Accounting.

      The contest was widely deployed attracting a large number of NDUN staffs to create a cohesive colleague relationship for raising women's awareness of the quality of family life. This was an opportunity for NDUN staffs  to show that they are not only good at their expertise but also skillful, responsible and helpful.
