Established in 1960 with the name of the first is to determine the Male Medical School, spent nearly 60 years of construction and development, with the ups and downs, today the University nursing Nam Dinh has grown thanks world, and become a trusted training address, brand, confirmed the training quality of higher education system in the country, step by step integration with the region and internationally, growing contribution to the healthcare industry , for the country. To receive facilities and reminded every faculty member, student, students always have to respect, preserve and promote the precious tradition of the school, more love, proud of the school's roof to which many generations of CBVC painstakingly builds , construction and development. On 11th Mar 2013 the Minister of health signed the decision taken on the annual 16/3 is the "traditional date of University nursing Nam Dinh".

On 16th Mar 2018 Nam Dinh University of Nursing held the anniversary and glad to be sincerely welcome generations have past work periods in the school about it.

The celebrations and traditional meeting, was the occasion for the entire  is the work with the student generation, students review the historical tradition of building, development of the school. At the same time is the occasion for the leaders and the entire , students, current students expressed feelings of respect, gratitude to generations of  has the work, sacrifice for the cause of construction and development of the school. The report, shared with generations of achievements in innovation, develop in the last time, the orientation of school development strategy in the coming time.
