Ministry of Health awards the title Teacher of the People and Meriterious Teacher in 2017 for typical educators of Health Sector

       On 30th November 2017 by order of the President , the solemn ceremony of awarding the title "People's Teacher" and "Meritorious Teacher" in 2017 for 17 typical teachers in the health sector was organized by Ministry of Health (MOH).

     Attending the ceremony there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien - Minister of Health; Professor. Dr. Le Quang Cuong - Deputy Minister of Health; Representatives of Departments, General Departments, Office of the Ministry of Health; teachers and their families; and a number of news agencies and television companies from the central and Hanoi.

On behalf of the President, Minister of Health awarded the title of "People's Teacher" and "Meritorious Teacher" to the teachers

       Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien - Minister of Health said that within 18 proposed sets of documents from six units (including 10 for the title of "People's Teacher" and 8 for the title of "Meritorious Teacher"), 10 sets of documents for the title of "People's Teacher" and 7 sets of documents for the title of "Meritorious Teacher" were approved and chosen by MOH Council. Then they were submited to the State. And they were all approved.

Associate Professor. Nguyen Thi Kim Tien, PhD - Minister of Health sent her congratulations to outstanding teachers in the health sector. She stressed that the award of the title "People's Teacher" and "Meritorious Teacher" was the good news not only with Teachers but also the health sector. These titles are the recognition of the Party and the State for the training branch of medical profession. As medical profession is a special profession, the teachers are both doctorss who treat the diseases to save patients and teachers who trains doctors for the future.  They participate in education profession and they are active in rescuing lives. "Doctors - Teachers carry their great responsibility but it is full of humanity and nobility.", the minister said.

On behalf of the President, Deputy Minister of Health Le Quang Cuong awarded the title of "People's Teacher" and "Meritorious Teacher" to the teachers

Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien appreciated the dedication of the teachers to the success of the people's health care in recent years, especially in 2017. The Minister hoped that in the coming time, the teachers would inspire their students, light up their passion of studying, searching and exploring the knowledge to train the great generations of students for the health care of the people.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Luu Ngoc Hoat - Senior Lecturer of Department of Medical Statistics and Informatics, Institute of Preventive Medicine Training and Public Health, Hanoi Medical University delivered his speech at the ceremony

On behalf of the teachers awarded the titles, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Luu Ngoc Hoat - Senior Lecturer of Department of Medical Statistics and Informatics, Institute of Preventive Medicine Training and Public Health, Hanoi Medical University delivered his speech in which he expressed his thankfullness to the Party, the State, leaders of the Ministry of Health, and colleagues. He promised to strive for further contribution to education in general, and education in the health sector in particular to be worthy of the titles.
