The first Transnational Meeting of the DigiCare project (Educating Students for Digitized Health Care and Coaching of their Patients), was held in Hanoi, Vietnam, on October 1-3, 2019.

 

This Capacity Building project, co-funded by the European Union Erasmus+ Program, which aims to enhance the digital skills of nursing students and improve the quality of patient care in Asian Higher Education Institutions, is represented by the Tampere University of Applied Sciences (Finland), the leader of the consortium, and Coimbra Nursing School (Portugal), as well as the partner institutions: Hanoi Medical College (Vietnam), Hanoi Medical University (Vietnam), Nam Dinh University of Nursing (Vietnam), Khulna Medical College and Hospital (Bangladesh), City Medical College and Hospital (Bangladesh) and Universal Medical College and Hospital (Bangladesh).

During this meeting the partner institutions were presented, the project’s quality plan was discussed and validated, as well as the upcoming working packages to bedeveloped. The project partners had the opportunity to visit the Hanoi Medical University facilities.
