Namdinh university of nursing welcomes a Japanese nursing Union
date: 20/01/2017 05:13:00On November 11th, 2016, Namdinh University of Nursing (NDUN) honorably welcomed a Japanese Nursing Union led by Mr Noriyuki Shimauchi - the director of market searching department. The delegation consists of 17 members from nursing corporations, hospitals and nursing homes of Japan. Besides, there are some representatives of Vietnamese JVS group which is recognized to be the top-ranked unit in the field of exporting labor to Japan by Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affair accompanied with the delegation.
At the meeting, Dr Ngo Huy Hoang- vice rector of NDUN briefly introduced the delegation about its process of foundation and development. Regarding the object of the delegation, the Vice rector also shared information about activities on taking Vietnamese nursing candidates to Japan, opportunities and challenges of Vietnam in general and of NDUN in particular, deployed-activities of the university to take Vietnamese nursing students to Japan for work.

On behalf of the Union, Mr Noriyuki Shimauchi thanked for the warm welcome of the university and also expressed the high appreciation of NDUN’s endeavor in deployed-activities to take Vietnamese nursing students to work in Japan. At the meeting, the members of the delegation also raised questions about needs, aspiration to work in Japan of the university and nursing students as well.

After the meeting, the delegation had a visit to the practical area of NDUN including Department of Nursing-Midwifery and the Center of Pre-clinical Practice. They praised NDUN’s facilities for training practical skills. However, they also made comments that the university lacked many facilities for training geriatric nursing practice. After the discussion, on behalf of the Union, Mr Noriyuki Shimauchi promised to support the university in terms of equipment and training lecturers to help activities on taking nursing students to Japan for work be more favorable.
