      Within the framework of SafeMa project, representatives of Nam Dinh University of Nursing (NDUN) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Rector of the University had a short working trip in Greece and Denmark.

      The delegation of Nam Dinh University of Nursing (NDUN) visited and worked at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) - Greece from October 14th to October 16th 2019. The main contents discussed include: gap analysis, midwifery training and advanced midwifery programs in low-income countries. While working in Greece, the delegation was able to visit Atiko hospital and meet the representative of WHO in Athens.

      On October 17th, 2020 the delegation left Greece for Denmark to continue the next working days with the members of the SafeMa project.

     From October 18th to October 20th, 2019 the delegation of Nam Dinh University of Nursing (NDUN) visited and worked at University college of Northern Denmark (UCN) - Denmark with the following main contents:

 

- Introduction to the midwifery program at UCN;

- Discussion of  Evidence Based Practice in midwifery

- Aalborg University Hospital visit;

- Discuss community midwives, ethics, human rights and obstetric violence;

- Visiting UCN library;

- Simulations in midwifery;

- Discuss postpartum bleeding;

- Attending International Day at UCN;

 

- Discuss about 8 modules of SafeMa project.

      Participating in SafeMa project is a good opportunity for Nam Dinh University of Nursing to learn about the experience of the university-level midwifery, evidence-based midwifery training program of midwives from countries to apply in teaching - learning to improve the quality of midwifery training at the school.
