NDUN One Health Club won the prize at Olympic One Health Competition 2018

       On 25th Mar 2018 national coordination office VOHUN has teamed with the Vietnam Institute of agriculture held the Olympic competitions A health for students of all One Health Clubs.

       The competition has 17 TEAMS representing 20 faculties/universities in the field of human medicine, veterinary medicine, nursing and public health across the country. The competition was organized with the goal of connecting the One Health club in the network, Exchange and improve the knowledge of One health, through which the students can apply the knowledge , his skills in the game to find out the winner. 

The jury of the competition

       One Hhealth network of the universities in Vietnam (abbreviated VOHUN) was formed in November in 2011, with the support of the project RESPOND, a health human resources (One Health Workforce) and USAID. The connected network 21 faculties/universities in the field of human medicine, veterinary medicine, nursing and public health in order to promote and develop the concept of "One health" in Vietnam. In 2016, VOHUN has appealed to members of the same connection, create a playground to put the concept of A community wide health students and from there formed A student health network across the country. Currently, the network had a total of 13 students in A Club on the health of 20 universities out of which 1 Club (the CLUB) Vietnam agricultural Academy. The Club with the support of donors USAID and the Office of the National Coordinator VOHUN has made useful, practical activities to help the students better understand A health as well as applying a health capacity in the field of in life; become a golden generation of A future health.

       The competition revolves around knowledge on health, climate change, disease spread between humans and animals, infectious diseases, food safety, water and sanitation, environmental pollution. The contest is divided into five parts: part 1-who we are: each team has a maximum of 3 minutes to about his teams: team name, slogan, members of the group ...-with the free form. The ORGANIZERS will award 1 extra Prize for the team with the most impressive introduction by jury vote. Part 2-test: Each team play will complete the test/quiz consists of 25 questions in 5 minutes time. BTC will play the questions for the team, the team filled out directly to the vote question was played. 5 minutes all teams send back answers to the organizers. Part 3-crossword Prize: there will be 1 crossword "keywords" to the team go in search of a solution. Part 4-Marshmallow challenge: each team will play 20 rods of spaghetti, 1 roll of adhesive tape, 1 m cord, 1 marshmallow sweets. Within 15 minutes, the teams need to create 1 highest towers can be built from the item on. The jury will use the size to go altimeter of each tower. Part 5-finishing: round 1-rhetoric: 3 teams play to the highest score in three previous rounds will be chosen to contest the rhetoric about a topic/thesis by the organizers. Based on the points of the jury, the ORGANIZER will select two teams go into the final round is the round "War rhetoric". Round 2-War rhetoric: the organizers will offer a perspective, the two teams will draw to select the view alone will debate measures taken towards: support the view put out or criticizing that point again. Each team had one minute to prepare and play 2 hours painting measures taken for a play. The team would stop playing that team before taking the second prize, teams taking the first prize. After five plays, if not the team would stop, the jury will decide the winning team based on the thesis that the teams put out in the play.

       After a lively competition through One Health CLUB competition of University nursing Nam Dinh exceptional win 1 Prize, the second prize, the 1st and 2nd prizes.
