Nam Dinh University of Nursing had a meeting with DigiNurse project team

       On 15th and 16th January 2018 there was a meeting between Nam Dinh University of Nursing and DigiNurse project team - IT support nurses to manage patients with chronic diseases.

       Attending the meeting on the side of Nam Dinh University of Nursing there were Dr. Ngo Huy Hoang - NDUN Vice Rector; heads of function offices; representatives of Nursing - Midwifery Faculty and Public Health Faculty. On the side of the project board there were Dr. Raija Kokko - Project Director, Lecturer at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland; Esa Kujansuu, MSc - Project Coordinator, Senior Lecturer at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland; Dr. Truong Quang Trung - Deputy Dean of Nursing - Midwifery Faculty, Hanoi Medical University.

       At the meeting, Nam Dinh University of Nursing introduced to the project team about training activities and strategy of developing nursing training; health model of people in Nam Dinh Province. At the same time, NDUN would like to have more knowledge about the role of the participants involving in the project, effectiveness of the project; and propose the support of the project for the development of Nam Dinh University of Nursing.

       The project was introduced by its member. Accordingly, the DigiNurse - IT supports nurses to manage patients with chronic diseases was set up with the goal of developing the DigiNurse model to help patients with chronic diseases manage their illnesses themselves; educating students, teachers, health care professionals, academic counselors and clients / patients about the use of the DigiNurse model; cooperating with national technology enterprises; strengthening the cooperation of participants and networks. The target groups of the project are student nurses, health care professionals, academic counselors, patients in health care organizations, home care clients and other important people. The development of a self-managed model for patients with chronic diseases is not new, but the new way that the DigiNurse model creates is that digitalization will be used as a part in nursing education. Health care digitalization services have recently been discussed in the media as well as in the health sector. This project would be implemented in medical education institutions.
