The 35th anniversary of Teacher day

       On 16th November 2017 the 35th Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (20th November 1982 - 20th November 2017) was solemnly held at Nam Dinh University of Nursing (NDUN).

Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of NDUN delivered his speech at the anniversary 

       Attending the anniversary, on the side of the the guests there were Vu Manh Tan - Director of GVI Vietnam, Dr. Denise Lynne Bredow - Expert in Nursing Training & Management, USA. On the side of Nam Dinh University of Nursing there were Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of NDUN; members of management board, heads of departments, NDUN lecturers and students.

       At the beginning of the anniversary, Dr. Le Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of NDUN reviewed the 35 years of Vietnamese Teachers' Day "Education is an important career for the development of the country." Therefore, teaching profession and teachers are paid great attention and respected. In 1982, the Council of Ministers chose 20th November as Vietnam Teachers' Day. Over the last thirty four years, 20th November has truly become a festival of the people and it is celebrated solemnly throughout the country. The tradition of fondness for learning, "be deferential to teachers and respect for moral", and Vietnam education have existed and developed together with the existence and development of the Vietnamese nation. Teaching profession is the most noble profession. There have been many generations of teachers who are examples of wisdom and dignity respected and believed by the people; and followed by students. The Rector emphasized the teacher's gracious responsibility and heavy political duties. He expected that NDUN staffs would promote the spirit of solidarity, cooperation, and consensus for the increasing development of NDUN.

       At the anniversary of Teacher's day, NDUN Rector was authorized by the Prime Minister, Minister of health, and Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee to award the titles of emulation and commendation to NDUN teams and staffs for the outstanding fulfillment of the tasks in the academic year 2015-2016.

NDUN individuals and teams were awarded the noble titles of the Government, Ministry of Health and Nam Dinh People's Committee

       The anniversary of teacher's Day was taken place in a solemn, exciting, and warm atmosphere. This is the proud point of recognition for the achievements in training, which is the result of tireless work of NDUN staffs.
