       On 4th May 2018, the  introduction to Fulbright Scholar Program 2019 was held at Nam Dinh University of Nursing (NDUN). Attend the meeting, on the side of NDUN there were Dr. Ngo Huy Hoang - Vice Rector, Dr. Mai Thanh Thu - Head of International Cooperation Office; DrNguyen Thi Minh Chinh - Deputy Head of Postgraduate training Office and 40 NDUN lecturers, learners and students. On the side of Fulbright Scholar Program there were Ms Do Thu Huong - Assistant of Fulbright Program (VSP) in Vietnam and Dr. Lori Ann Spies - Scholars of Fulbright Program, in charge of research.

Overview of the meeting

       At the meeting, Ms Do Thu Huong stated that Fulbright scholar program is one of the most prestigious scholarship in Vietnam and on the world. Vietnam candidates have been funded for 20 years. Each year about six to eight outstanding candidates across the country are selected and funded. She also explained NDUN staffs and learners how to prepare resumes, especially the outline of the study as well as the method of applying  form of the program. All information and questions related to the process of applying documents were answered in detail by her.

       It was believed that the introduction would motivate NDUN staffs and learners in preparing documents to apply Fulbright scholar program 2019 to find opportunities for studying, researching and training in the United States, a country in which the quality of education and training is leading on the world.
